New Years Eve

Well, 2007 is nearly at a close and I am looking forward to a better and more positive 2008.

We didn't have a great 2007 as a whole and we're hoping that 2008 can only be better in every possible way.

May I take this opportunity to wish all my blog readers a safe New Year's Eve party, whatever you're going to do and please don't drink and drive and may your 2008 be more than you ever dreamed of.

The last few snips and he few off, still screeching to be with his friends that were worried waiting by the side line. When he flew off so did all his birdie friends.

We found this little bird screeching in the tree today. Firstly its little foot was caught up in some yard so I phone Riaan and he said he'd try and free him when he got home from work. I see now that his wing is also caught up in this yarn.

I hope he's going to be okay and that we'll get to free the birdie...he looks so scared.

Any ideas of what kind of bird it is?
