Making Mountains Outta Moles

I have ugly moles on my face which I have been wanting to have removed for years.

I've always been worried about the scarring because they are quite big but I've gotten to the point that I'd rather have the scars on my face.  Having these ugly fuckers on my face waving at everyone are distrating and very unattactive.  I'm also worried that they will become a problem in the future.

I have on my on right cheek, one above my lip on the right side.  I also have one in my right eyebrow and a smallish one above my lip on the left side.

I'm have an appointment with the dermatologist on 4th March to have them zapped!

Good for you for doing what you want! Also, zapping in 2010 is a lot different than that of the removal techniques from the 90's. I bet you will have no scar. :)

Good luck. I have done quite a few on my face. The most dramatic was one on my eyelid for which I had an operation with at the Eye institute - I had stitches about 2 cm down on my cheek below the eye and a third of my eyelid removed and no mark - I promise! I have very few lashes on my bottom eyelid, but that is all that you can see.

So do not tress - it will be fine.

I also have a mole on my face, it arrived a few years ago after a visit to the beautician who pushed and pushed a small black dot - she thought it was a black head...a few days later I developed this huge scab and then a mole...I always take it off my face via photoshop as I hate it so..

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
If you dont see me around on your blog while on holiday please know I will be reading via my feedreader but not going into blogs as it will chew my gigs and hopefully going to get Pay As You Go to keep my blogs updated...

You'll be fine. I had a couple done on my face a few years back. no scars. The guy was a master. I've sent friends to him now. He used to be based at Eastgate, not sure now but I can find out if you want?

They will go away and you will never even know that they were there. You may have a little scar at first, but it will look no worse than the mole did!

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder. I think we are all self-conscious and our own worst critics. I think you look just fine.

But as it were, my wife recently had a cancerous growth removed from her face. It took some time, but the scarring has disappeared and you would never know she had the procedure done.

I wish the best to you.

I always thought they were sorta sexy. I'll miss 'em.

Good luck, I hope they magically disappear with no scar. But I will say, that we are always hardest on ourselves and I bet no one else even notices!
