This reminds me of my brother when we were little. My mom had caught him pretending to smoke cigarette butts (not hers or Dad's). One day my maternal grandpa was visiting and Mom told him to let my brother try one. He coughed and hacked. Unfortunately though, he did start smoking in his late teens, quit in his 20s and then started up again a few months ago because his new wife is a smoker. :-/
