Megan at the Eistedfod

MEGAN GOT GOLD!

Megan did Eistedfod yesterday and recited a little poem. I was beaming like the proud mum and it brought a tear to my eye. She did great and I'm so proud of her. Here she is saying her little poem.

IN THE RAIN

There is no colour in the rain

Its only water, wet and plain

It makes damp spots upon my book

And splashes on my new dress, look!

But, puddles in the rainy weather

Glissen, like a peacock's feather

Poker and Bar Evening

My best friend and I haven't been able to get together for a while what with our weekend away and her weekend to Cape Town and then me in hospital etc. So we decided on Saturday to hang out, have a glass or two of wine, play poker and Xbox and catch up. It ended up being pretty hectic behind the bar and quite a late night. I definintely let my hair down...
