Cricket Tournament and a Conversation With Kaylin

Today was Megan's School Cricket Tournament.

Meg was chosen earlier this year for the Grade 2 Under 9 Cricket Team.  We were dead chuffed seeing as she is the only girl in the team and was chosen as Team Captain.

I am so proud of her, watching her today motivating her team members and staying focused with some kind reminders from the side-lines, she did so well!

All-in-all it was a great day, scorching hot in the 34 degree sunshine and Megan's team won five out of five of their games.  Wee champions!  Prize Giving was held afterwards and Megan was chosen as Most Valued Player of her school.

A wee video I made based on a real conversation I had with Kaylin, my 5 year old.

Megan's Cricket Tournament

Megan took part in her school's Mini Cricket Tournament on Saturday against 6 other schools.

Their Grade 1 A team won 3 games out of 4 and Megan took 3 awesome wicket.  A great time in the sun having fun and cheering for Megan's team.
