Year End Function at Work - Survivor

Do you have what it takes to be the ultimate Survivor?

Out-wit, Out-play, Out-party

We finally got our invitations to our Year End Function!  And what a hype it caused at the office. We got a little bottle of sea sand on our desks filled with plastic bugs and a ice-cream stick (dunno what thats for).  We got a cryptic email leading us to a website link where you had to complete a puzzle before it opened the invitation.

Sounds like its going to be an active and fun-filled day in Hartebeespoort on the 27th of November.

"Bring your wit, leave your integrity.

Lies, allegiance, alliances and for the most part FUN lead to your ultimate goal...immunity!

The HOMEMAKERS tribe has spoken!"

Homemakers Year End Function

Our 2008 party Theme was Italian Icons...

I went as a Ferrari Pit Babe, some went as Marylin Monroe, mafia and scar face, some went as the Peroni girl, some did the whole flapper thing. It was really nice to see that everyone went all out with their outfits and the venue looked gorgeous. Red checkered table cloths and candles in old wine bottles. Our goodie boxes this year were on a shoe string budget so we got some spagetti with pasta sauce and a funky Homemakers "Slice of the Good Life" CD with all kewl Italian songs on including O Sole Mia, Joe Dolce's Shadduppa Your Face - good music for listening in the car. A lot of effort and thought went into the entire day - our PR department really out-did themselves.

We had a beautiful italian lunch, lots of dancing, spagetti sucking competition, awards for the best dressed, best dancers, best party spirit...it was all really well done and tons of fun.
