Our Family Weekend Away

This weekend we took a camping holiday to Buffelspoort with family and friends.  25 of us took Friday off and had a long, fun weekend in the sun.  It was brilliant to get away for a wee bit, wear no make up, leave hair to dry naturally, frolic in the pools and ride the super tube slide.  I spent quality time with my kids, I drank wine and lay in my hammock, I didn't take too many pictures but here's a few.

November is Camping Month

....well, for us anyway.

We've booked and paid for our next camping trip.  Actually our first camping trip this year, WOW, now that I think about it, it has been a while.

Our last camping trip was December 2011!  So, it's been a while...  

We are booked in at one of our favourite resorts, Buffelspoort, for the weekend and I only hope that the weather is gonna be good and that our tent will hold out.

Wilderness Weekend - What Happens in the Tent Stays in the Tent

Off camping this weekend!

I just can't wait because I really need this little break.  Its been a hectic and stressful couple of weeks, at home and at work.  Its also going to be the first time in a good few years that all our camping group members are all going to be together at the same time in one place.  Lots of catching up to do.

I am taking Friday afternoon off and leaving early...will take loads of pix.

So that means we have one extra person but I'm sure the camp official won't even realise. Hmmmm wishful thinking, I suppose.

We are missing a few key people: Fiona and Steve who have work committments so they can't predict whether they will be able to join us until closer to the time. Justin, who is writing exams (poor bugger) and Ellen who will be at home work hard. We will miss them but I'm sure we'll fill them in with truck loads of photos for all us camera happy gals.

So, let me know if you think we should do a Boeresports seeing as we're going to be at Buffels (our original Boeresports venue). Irene has already volunteered to help me out.
