Our Olympic Heros

Everyone is talking about the fucking Olympics.

Even my hair dresser asked me last week if I was going to watch the closing ceremony.

No, I'm fucking not, Doochenozzle!

Not because I don't want to, but because we switched off our Satelite telly connection nearly a year ago.  It was becoming so expensive and we really didn't see the "return on our investment".

Oh sure we get the local channels but the coverage on those channels was limited and all you really got to see was the highlights.

But I'm still proud that South Africa brought back six Olympic medals.

Our Olympic Heros returned back to South Africa from the 2012 London Olympic Games this week and received a heroes welcome at the airports.

Swimming Hotties Chad Le Clos, won a gold and a silver and Cameron Van Der Burgh scooped up a gold.

Bridgitte Hartley wanted to test if her bronze medal was real, which she got for a fantastic Canoe Sprint and another gold for our brilliant Rowing Team.

What tells you our strengths lie in all things water related?

Caster Semenya brought home a silver for her second place in the 800m  and that all adds up to a total of 6 Olympic Medals.

Well done South Africa.
