Cupboard Clutter Blog

I've started a new blog.

I'm selling my shite! 

Yeah, that's right, I have too many cupboards full of clothes clutter.  Its shameless!

It's my latest project to get rid of all my stuff that either I'll never wear again, or won't fit into again.  Then I'm going to use the money I make to get some new things.

December Derby

Our Year End Dysfunction at work has been organised. 

Our first clue we received was a carrot with a note attached which said:

Our fun is like a carrot, growing underground

You can see just a little at the top

But 1 December it will pop.

The next clue we got was this one

We got our final invitations yesterdy and its all about a December Derby. 

We're going to the Turffontein Race Course. 

Derby hats and fancy outfits here we come.  Got any ideas?

I do have my eye on a cute Mad Hatters Hat but the shipping from the states is three times more than the price of the hat!! 

Santas Shoebox Project Delivery

I took part in the Santa's Shoebox Project again this year and this weekend was time to drop off the boxes at the demarcated locations and venue.  I had to deliver mine to the Turffontein Race Course. 


I'd only ever seen this dingey building from the outside so much to my delight I got to see it from the inside.  It's HUGE!  The race course grounds are lovely, the stables are enormous and they have an entire conference facility.  The actually race course building is 5 stories high and massive inside.  Full of booths and function rooms and catering and private rooms.


I was suitably impressed.
