Mottos versus Insults on the A to Z challenge is offially half way through now and today's letter is N

Motto - Never Give Up

I have this motto up on my Vision Board for 2012 to encourage me on my weight loss journey, amongst other goals I want to achieve this year.   It's a brilliant motto to have because you'll all be successful in reaching your goals if you Never Give Up.  It can be applied to most things in life.

and today's Insult is

Nigga

This is an awesome insult because its so contravertial.  It's only black blokes and Pimps that get away with calling each other Nigga.  Its so gangsta, innit?

See?  It is not the same when a dorky white dude says it.

And because I don't want to be left out of this week's Monday Music Moves Me.  I'm incorporating my A to Z theme into it,  Niggas.

Well, Michael Jackson used to be a Nigga With a 'Fro.  I guess all those skin whitening treatments, nose jobs, lip jobs, cheek implants, face lifts made him look more and more like a honky towards the end but he wrote a song about Black and White.

Motivation 

We all need it - that constant internal dialogue that keeps us on the straight and narrow.  The little angel on our shoulder that wears a sparkling halo and whispers in our ear to never give up.

and of course we cannot have a sweet motto without a sour Insult.

Today's Insult is

This word always reminds me of Samuel L Jackson in Pulp Fiction (one of my favourite films).  He used this word extensively in this film and so I thought I'd share one of the best scenes from the film with you Muthas.

If you don't know already my theme for the A to Z Blog Challenge is Mottos versus Insults and according to some of you I'm incredibly predictable.  So, in keeping with the theme and unsurprisingly cheesy, I declare my Motto today to be

Without love, life would be pointless.  We plod through life looking for love and wanted to be loved in return. If we don't have it, we want it, we can't buy it, we can't demand it.  We can't force it but we can make it.

I did post about the differences between Love and Lust once.

Today's  Insult is 

Lardarse

Whether you’re teeming with frustration, overwhelmed with anger or just plain in a bitchy mood, there are unlimited reasons to fire off a carefully-designed insult.  From the four-letter word variety to the long-winded diatribes, back-handed compliments to in-your-face jeers, sometimes you’ve got to say what’s really on yer mind.  The personal benefits of releasing such negative energy far outweigh some Fucker’s hurt feelings – especially if the arsehole deserves it.

Despite the age-old saying that “words will never hurt me”, we all know that a biting comment can be a devastatingly effective slap in the face with a wet fish.  It’s not easy being mean but it sure beats curling up into a hole and wanting to die, right.

This was right before the black eye.
