I like the Celtic as well. The thistle tattoos are everywhere. You can really customize a Celtic one.
I saw the Star Trek Google animation yesterday, they took it down today :( I am a closet trekkie. Live near the town where Captain Kirk was born (Riverside, Iowa) They even have a festival there.
Hi Lass! As a mildly arty chap, I'd probably be thinking about the celtic/thistle/colour-type concepts rather than basing it on their tastes, which may change? The green/purple thistle will always represent Scotland! So maybe your first thought was the right one? Indigo
Beam me up Scotty. One of my service mates had a great fox and rabbit tattoo. The fox was brilliant, but you only saw the rabbit's tail and hind quarters, he was well into his burrow !
