Superior To A Cinnabon

My Kiehl's Store Visit to Sandton City, Johannesburg to check out their wee pots and potions was better than a truck full of Cinnabons...

....with just with a whole lot less calories and guaranteed Carb-Free.

They had just received their brand new BB Creams as well as their Micro Blur Skin Perfector.

Oh Yeah....

BB Creams
The BB Cream comes in four different colours or shades, is Paraben-Free and contains a SPF 50 and Vitamin C.  It does contain alcohol and is quite pricey for a BB cream at over R500.

The Blur Skin Perfector is Kiehl's version of a skin Primer.  You know that stuff you slap on before you put on your make up that has the same affect at Polyfilla?  It fills all the holes and cracks and makes your skin appear even-toned and so smooth you slide uphill.

Micro Blur Skin Perfector.
I even got a sample of the Skin Rescue to try out.

Soopa stoked.

Enjoy dipping yer doddle in my vloggy.

See Me, Kiehl Me. #ChangeYourSkin

It's Week 3 of my Kiehl's 28-day #ChangeYourSkin Challenge using The #3Musketeers and I am happier than a puppy with two wagging tails.

*Wiggle Wiggle*.

My results continue to improve, my skin is completely hydrated and looking all dewy and radiant.  I've had a few flattering comments this week about my skin's dazzling gloriousness, so things must be happening now.

Did I say I am as happy as a pig in schlop?

Wee old me got to visit the Kiehl's Store in Sandton City, Johannesburg and it was pretty awesome.  The staff were amazing sporting their white pharmacy coats, explaining everything, allowing me to take pictures and video footage, answering all my questions, offering advice and showing me their 2 new products!  The store is colourful and funky including exposed brick, neon signs and even a wall of fun Polaroid pictures from clients. The stores includes a motorcycle and a Mr Bones skeleton.

Did I mention I am as happy as a mole with eagle eyes?

I discovered Kiehls Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate, which is Kiehl's equivalent to a Vitamin C Serum.  It include 10.5% Pure Vitamin C!!

Have I told you that I'm as happy as kitten under a leaky cow?

I'll let my vloggy tell you the rest.  Remember with Kiehl's Less is More.

It Kiehls So Good #ChangeYourSkin

It is Week 2 of using the Kiehl's facial products that I call The #3Musketeers

Half Way, Beauties!

All for One and One for All.

I have not missed a morning or night using The #3Musketeers and all together, they have been very good to my skin.

I'm seriously in love with The Midnight Recovery Concentrate.  It is the D'Artagnan of the #3Musketeers.  The Main Character and certainly The Star of the Show.

My skin definitely has more moisture, feels smoother, more supple and looks less blotchy.  Even though we are bang slap in the middle of a dry, scratchy Joburg winter that horrible tight feeling when I cleanse my skin, is gone.  It means it's not dehydrated anymore and that makes me extremely happy as that was my main complaint before I started this 28-day challenge.

I'd like to say that my fine lines are diminishing but my wrinkles are pretty deep set, so I think it may just take a little more time.

I've also reduced the quantities of the #SerumExperts that I use. I was finding that in Week 1 my skin was a little oily in the morning.  I now only use 1 pump of the Hyrdo Plumping Retexturising Serum and only 2 drops of the Dark Spot Solution.  I still use 3 drops of the Midnight Concentrate.  Much better combination for me.

I can't wait to see what my skin looks like the end of Week Three.

Some of you may remember that when I started the challenge, I told you I'd be using The ##Musketeers on my right forearm too.  I will be sharing pictures of the different between my right and left forearm next week.  So stay tuned for that....

Head Over Kiehls #ChangeYourSkin

It’s been one week using the Kiehl’s #3Musketeers....

... and by #3Musketeers I mean the three products that the Beauties at Beauty Bulletin sent to me from the Kiehl's skin care range.  You can read all about them individually over at the forum by clicking on the links below.

I must say..., I feel quite sparkly and sophisticated using these bottles religiously morning and night.

Previously, I didn't do a skin routine in the morning.  I simply didn't have time.  It's normally just wash my face, apply moisturiser and go.  So, this routine has taken a wee bit getting used to.

To make it easier for myself, I leave the #3Muskateers on my bedside table, so that I will be constantly reminded about the products and the procedure of applying them twice a day.  I don't want to jeopardise the promised end result.

Gimme 21 days, Beauties…they say it takes 21 days to form a new habit. So far I haven’t missed a morning or night!  My skin feels smoother a lot less dry and completely nourished.

Here are my before and After One Week results.

I am Head Over Kiehls in love with my #3Musketeers!

Kiehls 3 Muskateers #ChangeYourSkin

Before Pic #nofilter
Happy Friday-Eve, Beauties!

When you turn 40, your skin is branded as “mature”. This is the pivotal time to invest in a trusted, good-quality skin-care product to help you keep your youthful appearance and combat those fine lines and flush away those dark spots.

My "mature" neck and chest area is constantly exposed to the elements and the sun. Its turning crinkly, crumpled and discoloured.  It needs extra attention.

So, I’m eager to try the Kiehl’s Spot Solution on my neck and chest area too. I will be using this product on my right forearm, so that we can measure the difference from one sun-damaged arm to the other one.

Cleva, right?

I love the Kiehl's packaging of the skin care range.  It is simple, clean and classic and gives the impression of less is more, you know, good quality.

The smell of the product is fragrance-free so there is no strong odour, which I’m super happy about, because I detest high perfumed facial products.  I can only describe the Kiehl products as Clean-Smelling.

It has only been four days using the products, but my skin feels smooth and soft and well nourished.

Stand by on Monday for a full week's report back of each of the 3 products I'm testing and some updated Week 1 "Before and After Pics".

See ya!

Kiehl or No Kiehl #ChangeYourSkin

I celebrated my birthday on Friday past and I can't tell you how many times I got asked my age.

I hesitated answering the question every time.

Afterwards, I asked myself why?

It's not that I didn't want to reveal my age, it's just I don't feel my age.

When I say the number 43 out loud it makes me seems old - like a Tannie - and my age doesn't truly reflect how I feel inside.  I still feel young and I still have tons of stuff I want to do in my life.  I have too much on my bucket list to feel old.

I do my best to look after my hair and skin.  I go to gym three to four times a week and I can run 5km in under 30 minutes.  I try to stick to a balanced diet and drink my daily quota of water.

So, when Beauty Bulletin approached me to be a guinea pig for them using Kiehl's iconic products that promised to change my skin and appear as young as I feel inside, I jumped....and smiled...then whopped.

I'm ready to take The Challenge!

What Challenge I hear you ask?

The Kiehl's #ChangeYourSkin Challenge.  Essentially, I will be crash testing Kiehl's #SuperSerums and blogging my progress from start to finish.  I will be posting before after photos (without make up) so that you can watch the magic happen to my skin in 28 days.

I have great expectations from these pretty smelling bottles, I'm hoping they make me look as fabulous on the outside as I feel on the inside.

In order for you to follow my progress through this challenge, you have to pick your poison.  I have plenty platforms to choose from.    Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, or check out my posts on Beauty Bulletin.

Oh, I know that Kiehl's is way older than me...my measly 43  years versus their 160 years?  Not much competition there, but I'm certainly gonna give it a whirl.
