I was approached recently to give some information about life in South Africa.
A specific person from Europe has set up a blog and wants to have a section on what its like living in South Africa. What things a person from overseas can expect visiting our country for the 2010 Soccer World Cup.
What would you want to discuss about South Africa to a foreigner looking for general topics on our country?

I am in the US but I would want to know how families live? Is there the constant rush and unconcer for your fellow people like it seems we have here in the US? DO kids go to school 5 days a week? Are there a lot of fast food restaurants? Are people over weight like 2/3 of Americans? What do people do for fun?

The food, the culture, the views, the weather, the culture, the night life, the day life, the shopping, ..is that enough to start with?
How is the climate, year round? Is the country peaceful or is there a lot of unrest in the area?
