Friday Follower Mr Cool and a Shoegasm

Introducting Mr Cool aka Tom Tomoser.

By day is a Secrity Guard and by night he is serenading all the ladies in Omaha karaoke bars making them swoon with his soopa smooth voice and silvery locks. Tom is so smooth he slides up hill!

Tom dismissed the idea of being signed by a major label and instead opened his own indie label Lone Eagle Records in 1997. The first release from Lone Eagle was “Cool Smooth & Sassy” spotlighting a tenor sax session player named Joe Genovesi. Tom put 14 of his ballads on “Cool.”

A renaissance man, and a true desire to achieve the highest artistic quality inspired him to begin his musical career by laying a foundation to grow from.  His musical knowledge came the old fashioned way - he  studied.

It was clear to him from the beginning that he would need to be competent in at least 4 areas of the music business to build a rewarding and profitable career or business. The first order of business was to learn how to write music, so he studied music theory with a college professor that was also an accomplished pianist, and woodwind artist playing with two symphony orchestras and a jazz ensemble.

Tom is a true gentleman whose songs and voice reflect the lost art of chivalry.  His blog is full of interesting stuff and always takes part in Monday Music Moves Me bloghop.

Go give him a visit and send Tom some hugs and kisses and check him out on YouTube.

My Fantabuloso Followers

Mr Knowitall and Nitebyrd were kind enough to send me pictures of their Daft Scots Lass Tattoos (the trick is to actually wear them G-Man!).  They will be featured forever under the Prize Plonkers tab at the top of my bloggy.

Thanx again, guys

Nitebyrd: Taken 12/03/2011 at The 16th Annual Buzz Bake Sale in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Bake Sale was an all day rock concert with all the bands listed on the card propped in front of the beer!  Me and the tattoo had a fabulous time!

Feature a Follower

What do you think of this idea?

I'm toying with the idea to spotlight a few followers on a weekly basis and introduce them to everyone (with their permission of course).

One of them could be a vlog rather than a blog.  If I can get bloggers interesting in vlogging.

What do you guys think?

Who’d be interested in being featured?

Who would be interested in reading something like this?

Suggestions?

BE HONEST!

Oh and don't forget to go and Caption this week's Freaky Photo just for the fuck of it.

Follow / UnFollow Me - Woteva!

So after not posting for four days because of my wee trip to Natal to be with my mum while she goes through serious surgery, I lost three followers.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not sitting here sobbing and wiping away the snot and tears with my sleeve or anythin'...

Its really not that important to me how many followers I have, who reads or listens to my drivel. It just  baffles me on why people intially decide to follow you (for some obscure reason) and why they finally stop following.  Most do eventually...

Listen, I've been blogging for nearly three years and I've seen many bloggers, readers and followers come and go...but it still makes me ponder it all.

Is it because my followers get bored?  Is because I say FUCK too much? Is it because Followers take offence to a particular post?  Is it because I don't post as regularly as they would like?  Is it because I post too much?

I know you can't please the masses all the time.  I certainly don't try too hard.

I'm just wondering...

What makes you "Follow" and ultimately '"UnFollow" a blogger?

My 1000th Post

Can you believe I have reached one thousand posts

Two years, one thousand posts, 52 followers and I follow, read and comment on almost 150 blogs.  Its grown into quite a brilliant reading list...

It feels weird to know I've shared so much with my fellow bloggers.

Thank You to all who read and comment on my wee blog regularly.  I've met some incredible people through Blogspot

My wee blog started up as a way for my overseas family to "see" updated pictures of my family and find out what we were up to.

And now I'm addicted and can't turn back.

I love it and never get bored with it.  There is always something to write about and always something to read.

This is incredible....It is called the 1000 Arms Dance which is pretty appropriate for this post!
