Suspected Measles at Home

We have an appointment with Dr Frik later this afternoon to confirm whether our Kaylin has measles - but I'm pretty sure its measles.  She had it as an infant and contracted it when she was in the hospital for pnuemonia.  Can you really get measles twice?  I guess the first time was baby measles...this looks the same though.

Och we'll have to wait and see what doc says...

I'd love it to be an allergy of some sort it because that will mean we can treat it and less time off work.  If it is measles, I'm at home with her for at least one week.

Here she is:

It looks like Measles but I hope it isn't. Measles can make children really poorly, I know from experience of my own kids.

Poor little thing. Better expose everyone to it so you can get it all over at one time.

She sure seems to be in good spirits in spite of it. Hope it's taken care of soon.

AWWWW! (She makes measles look happy, that's for sure!)

I think you can get them multiple times.

Could be Roseola too.

Hope they get her fixed up quick..bless her heart!

Holy cow! She does look cheerful, though.
Hope she feels better very soon.

I didn't think you could get them twice, must be an old wives tale. Hope the doc gives her something to lessen the effects, nothing worse than watching your wee one suffering when there's nothing you can do to help.
