Random Acts of Kindness
Are Few and Far Between
The pleasure’s in the giving
Watching faces gleam
Bestowing something trivial
They never did expect
A hug, a smile, a minor bequest
Witnessing the joyful affect
Never take things for granted
As modest as they seem
For someone around the corner
Is ready to make you beam.

sometimes we give, others we receive...just hope we have made the deposits when we need to withdrwl from the bank...nice 55 gils.
Nice sentiments. If we spot what looks like a a couple obviously celebrating an anniversary in a restaurant, we will sometimes buy a dessert for them with our waiter on our way out. We have never been there to see them receive it, but it's nice to think about their surprise.
I’m up here.
What a beautiful 55 poem - I love the sentiment behind it. There is so much pleasure to be had from giving. :)
Great 55. Words to live by.
