Why is Monday so far from Friday and Friday so near to Monday?

Oh Fuckity Fuck!  Its Monday again.  Why the hell did it roll around so fast, Plonkers?  Its just not fucking fair.  I'm so bummed!

This week's Monday Music Moves Me theme is Patriotic Songs.  That means I have to include some Scottish stuff and some South African stuff.

Enjoy some of the African culture as well as the Scots stuff.

A famous Xhosa Song

One of the most famous choirs in South Africa, The Drakensburg Boys Choir. This is just a few of them!

An awesome and sucessful South African band

Another very kewl SA Band that are not so successful - YET

A South African song with some gorgeous South African girls.

And to close....drums and pipes

All I can say is oh, WOW! I did not expect these songs for this week's theme, but they're INCREDIBLE!

Seriously, incredible.

My favorite is the famous song by Xhosa-It's so POWERFUL.

These all touched me, so I thank you for sharing a little culture with all of us this Monday :)

Have a musical week!

Thank you so much for sharing your Scottish and South African picks. I love hearing new-to-me music and I loved each of these. The Drakensburg Boys Choir have some amazing voices. Freshly Ground wasn't available to view in my country. Rats.

Don't fret about it being Monday, the older you get the sooner every Friday comes around.

I love your Scottish patriotic tunes, but I'm at a lost as to what South Africa has to do with it. And, wow those soccer chicks are really whoo-hoo sexy! Thanks for linking up with us another week, my friend! ^.^

Loved all these songs, I have to admit, the Scottish ones I'm more partial to, but the SA ones were beautiful.
The boys choir was amazing, and the Peachy Keen girls had such power behind their voices - WOW!
That Unofficial World Cup video had me cracking up. Their outfits remind me of the ones that our American beach volleyball players wear during the olympics.
Thanks for always playing along and good luck in the giveaway!
