Monday Music Moves Me

Photobucket

This week's Monday Music Moves Me theme is School Days over at Xmas Dolly.  Go Link up, lovely Plonkity Plonkers.

But first I want to introduce a South African band that has their Debut albulm coming out towards the end of the year.

Here are a few songs that I used to listen to constantly when I was a senior in high school.  I matriculated in 1989 and there are so many brilliant songs to choose from.

That year rocked it in music. Enjoy!.

Remember to also go and watch my Fifty Shades of Fucked Up Vlog

Music has gone downhill since these classics.

It was fun to see/hear you in the 50 shades snippet.

Be well,
xoRobyn

I love Black Velvet Lass! It came on in the gym the other day and actually inspired me so much, everyone else must have thought it was weird how excited I got over the song, all of these are awesome though.

Roland Gift's touring this winter with Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. He's still got it.

Love Black Velvet. I filmed the Sensational Mary Barclay Band singing this back in 2008. Hope you don't mind me putting up this link to that vid.
Mary Barclay Black Velvet
She told me afterwards, she'd been looking for a youngster who'd gone missing, hence the shielding of her eyes early on.

Black Velvet really rocks still after all these years! Great to dance with you on Monday's Music Moves Me again. =D

Love your picks. I haven't heard a song by Fine Young Cannibals other than She Drives Me Crazy.
