I have a question for Jessica (who did really quite well with this quiz!):

What are slipslops? Are they anything like what we in America call flipflops?

I guess that's two questions. Isn't it? Oops. There's a third! Sorry.

Niagara Falls? (cutting back into the rock over time)

The bottle is placed over the peer while it is still tiny on the tree and it grows inside the bottle (I have seen this on TV)

6. Only three words in standard English begin with the letters "dw" and they are all common words. Name two of them..

Dwell. Dwarf.

7. There are 14 punctuation marks in English grammar... Can you name at least half of them?

Exclamation, question, full stop, comma, semi-colon, colon, parentheses, hyphen, apostrophe, ellipse, quotation marks, tilde.

8. Name the only vegetable or fruit that is never sold frozen, canned, processed, cooked, or in any other form except fresh.

Lettuce? (although I have had lettuce soup before - it's a cold soup)

9. Name 6 or more things that you can wear on your feet beginning with the letter "S."

Sock, stockings, stilettos, slippers, sandals, slip-slops.

How'd I do?
