I had to do a piano duet in a competition in high school to the song Memory. The funny thing is, I have never heard it sung. I can only play it on the piano and since I was the secondary part, I don't even remember how the melody goes. But regardless, it's still one of my favorite pieces to play even if it is the secondary

Memories in CATS gets my vote for best musical song of all time, for sure.

I saw Annie back in 1978 at the Pantages in Los Angeles with my drama class. I don't remember too much of it, except when checking out the item behind Miss Hannigan's desk. They had a box of Alka Seltzer there. Love Annie. The girls voices always sound so sweet.

Wonderful picks! Love them all and those shows!

I should have shared rent this week but I thought for sure someone would share Seasons of Love. That song gets me every time.

As a musician generally and a clarinet player specifically, Fiddler on the Roof, with its fabulous klezmer-style music, is always a winner for me!

The Mrs. is all about Le Mis, but the older kid had a recent homework project that involved researching Oklahoma. Now, have that "chicks and ducks and geese better scurry" tune stuck in my noggin.

Aquarius...now your talkin.
I had a great video of the Cowsills singing Hair on my suspended Youtube channel.I might remake it since it wasn't the band who questioned the copyright.

I haven't seen Hair or The Lion King on stage, but I have the rest of them and LOVE all the music you sellected.
I never could understand how such a beautiful song like Memory could come from such a strange musical like Cats - I never got it and didn't understand how it stayed on stage for so long.
Thanks for picking such fantastic music. Can't wait to see your choices next Monday, have a great week. =)

@Mark JUST FOR YOU, my friend!

@Alex Sadly, no but most of them have the film version, which I've seen. We don't have "Broadway Musicals" over in South Africa. I have seen the local production of The Lion King though.

@Xmas Dolly MWAH!
