- People who stand too close to me in a queue. It's called personal space, Plonkers! Take a step back.
- Vermin....anything to do with rats, mice or gerbils gives me the serious fucking heebie-jeebies.
- Not enough hot water to have a piping hot bath.
- Free Gifts....what other type of gifts are there? I detest the use of the words "free gift".
- Captchas. I detest them and often don't want to comment on a blog because of the irritation.

Agree with you on the word verification.
Pet peeve - slow drivers. Even worse if they're on the cell phone.
People who insist on walking at a "gentle pace" when you reeeeally need to get somewhere quickly!x

I'm with you on the word verification thing, nothing annoys me like going to a blog and seeing this. I also hate not having enough warm water although it's generally when it comes to a shower and not baths because I don't get baths enough.
I detest captcha's and would stop commenting on the blogs that used them if I could remember which ones before I've taken the time to read and type a comment. It's the bloggers job to take care of their blog not visitors. If people are that afraid of spam moderate the comments. All you have to do is delete things you don't want there. They take time, they're hard to read, they're beyond irritating.

My house or, maybe, just the hot water heater has something against me. I'll be the first one up to shower and won't be able to get any hot water, but the person who comes after me gets plenty.

Captchas are a damned nuisance - I get irritated with people who misuse the English language too.
OMG! I so agree. Get out of my damn bubble! I hate when folks stand real close. I too avoid leaving a message if a CAPTCHA is involved. I don't want to have to play detective and try to figure out what the hell they are trying to get me to type.
YES!!! On all of it!! Especially the first one, but number 3 is high ranking too.
